Our Policies

Payment Policy:

In some of our retreats we offer the option to pay an initial deposit to secure your spot on the retreat. The remainder of the balance is due 30-60 days before the start of the retreat depending on the retreat. This will be listed on the retreat payment page. If the balance is not paid on time, your spot will no longer be guaranteed and attempts will be made to re-book your spot. Initial deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that sometimes, things come up and plans need to change. We do our best to be fair and sensitive to your needs, and ask you to be sensitive to ours. Please review our Cancellation Policy:

  • Up to 90 days before the retreat, you will be refunded 75% of the total retreat fee if you need to cancel. (Initial deposits are non-refundable.)

  • Between 89 and 60 days before the retreat, you will be refunded 50% of the total retreat fee if you need to cancel. (Initial deposits are non-refundable.)

  • Within 59 days before the start of the retreat, no refunds will be granted.

  • Should the group not meet the minimum number requirement, Awakened Heart Retreats may need to cancel the trip. In such case, participants will be fully refunded their payment to Awakened Heart Retreats.

  • The retreat is fully transferable.

Transportation Policy:

  • Overseas retreats do not include airfare to destination country. After registering for your retreat, you will receive a confirmation email from Awakened Heart Retreats, along with helpful information about booking your own air travel to the destination country. Please wait to purchase your flights until you receive your confirmation email.

  • On certain retreats, transportation from and to the airport is offered as an add-on option. Information on where and when to catch the shuttle or private ride will be described on the retreat payment page. If your flight is delayed, it’s possible you may miss the shuttle, in which case you will be responsible for paying for a private shuttle. When possible, we will have drivers wait as long as possible in the case of a delayed flight. Sometimes there is an increased cost for asking drivers to wait.

Insurance:

We highly recommend you find and purchase Trip Insurance with a Cancel for Any Reason Policy. This will protect your investment as well as can cover you in the case of a medical emergency.
